How Internet Identity Protects You
Pseudonymous by design — no passwords, no personal data
When you sign in, Internet Identity uses your device's biometrics (Face ID, fingerprint) or a security key. There is no email address and no password involved — nothing personal is ever transmitted to us.
Each app you use gets a unique, randomised identity — meaning CommunityConnect cannot connect your activity here to any other website or service. Your anchor number is device-specific. We cannot look you up, and nobody else can either.
Save your Internet Identity anchor number to sign in from another device. That is the only credential you will ever need.
